Chiropractic
At Anchor, our approach to chiropractic care keeps your health and performance goals at its centre. We take a manual approach to provide diagnosis, treatment and preventative care for conditions relating to the muscles, skeletal system, and nervous system.
Your 45 minute assessment and 30 minute chiropractic treatment sessions consist of uninterrupted time with your therapist in a private setting. 45 minute treatment options are also available.

Physiotherapy
At Anchor, we aim to optimize your mobility, strength and functional movement patterns through a variety of treatment techniques. Every person is unique and our job is to work with you to investigate the source of your pain or dysfunction and create a tailored plan that will help you achieve your goals.
Your one hour assessment and 45 minute physiotherapy treatment sessions consist of uninterrupted time with your therapist in a private setting. 60 minute treatment options are also available.
Treatment may include:

-Soft tissue release
-Individualized exercise program
-Modalities such as shockwave therapy
-Education regarding your injury and realistic strategies to self manage discomfort and improve performance
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy
This is a specialized form of physiotherapy that assesses and treats pelvic floor dysfunctions. Pelvic floor dysfunction includes symptoms such as urinary frequency, urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic or lower back pain, pain with sexual intercourse, bulging in the pelvis or constipation. Pelvic floor dysfunction can result from weak and/ or overactive pelvic floor muscles. Along with external orthopaedic techniques, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapists use internal manual techniques to assess the function of these muscles and their contribution to your symptoms.
Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy is also useful for symptom management during the prenatal and postnatal period as well as preparation for labour and delivery.
Clinical Pilates
Pilates is a low-impact method of exercise which focuses on full body alignment, mobility, strength and endurance. It focus on deep core engagement and optimizing muscle sling systems to strengthen your body, helping to optimize performance and reduce risk of injury.
Matwork Pilates utilizes your own body weight to achieve alignment, stability and mobility of your spine, hips and shoulders. Reformer pilates coming soon!
TPI Golf Assessment
Functional movement assessment for the purpose of improving golf swing mechanics and injury avoidance. Created by the Titleist Professional Institute.
Naturopathic Medicine
Naturopathic Medicine is a holistic approach to healthcare that explores chief complaints with a multi-system approach. It addresses physical, mental, emotional, genetic, environment, lifestyle and social aspects of health to adequately assess the person. It focuses on determining and treating the root cause of illness (when applicable).
Modalities such as orthomolecular medicine, nutritional interventions and supplementation, hydrotherapy, physical modalities such as cupping, traditional Chinese medicines (i.e acupuncture), and lifestyle counselling are some of the treatment options that fall under naturopathic medicine.
Naturopathic medicine does not seek to replace allopathic medicine, instead offers additional resources for the management of a person’s health. The teachings of naturopathic medicine are rooted in prevention and education, as well as treatment of the whole person.
Dr. Giuliana approach to naturopathic medicine is individualized, evidence-based, and traditionally informed. As an advocate accessible and integrative care, her approach to treatment is multi-faceted. She ensures patients are fully informed of their treatment options and emphasizes a person’s active role in the management of their health.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the manipulation of soft tissues of the body including, muscles, connective tissues, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy helps alleviate discomfort associated with everyday and occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions. Massage Therapy can be used to treat both acute and chronic conditions. Registered Massage Therapists can work with a variety of clients in the treatment of illness, injury rehabilitation, pregnancy and disability.
